Primary Head's Message:
Dear Reader:

A warm welcome to CGSD Primary! 

This unit houses PG - Class 6. This is where the children start their journey at CGS. Over time, this journey is blended to match the Cambridge system and curriculum and from Class 3, students begin to sit for term exams. 

 CGSD Primary has approximately 350 students and 100 staff (faculties, administrative personnel, management and support staff) under its wing, all of whom focus on optimizing the academic and personal development of each child. 

Apart from the academics comprising of English, Math, Science, Bangla, Geography, Social Studies, Literature, History, Art & IT, we greatly emphasize the Extra Curricular Activities (ECAs) and the Round Square (RS) ideals and conferences in order to develop well rounded students. 

From this year onwards, CGSD Primary shall also start with the ICT exams from Class 2 upwards to be held under the Cambridge University and certified accordingly. 

The parents are our biggest partners in the development of our children and we look forward to the constant support in our journey ahead.

Secondary Head's Message:

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the secondary school of CGS Dhaka which comprises of Classes 7 to 10. Here the students are prepared in stages each year towards the Cambridge O level examinations in which they appear at the end of Class 10.

In Classes 7 the students sit for the Cambridge ICT Starter examinations. At the end of Class 7, professional career counselors come in from abroad. They advise and guide the students to make the choice for O Level subjects according to their aptitude. In Class 8 the O level syllabus starts and students sit for the Cambridge Check point exams. They sit for some subjects in Class 9 and remaining ones in class 10. The subjects that we offer for O Levels are English Language, Mathematics D,  Bangla, Bangladesh Studies, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Commerce, Economics, Accounts, Additional Mathematics , Statistics, Computer Science, Art and Design.

The teachers conducting the O level classes at present are subject specialists with many years of experience in reputed English medium schools. Each teacher is assisted by experienced teachers who have themselves appeared in O/A level exams or are subject specialists. Another aspect that distinguishes us from the other schools is the fact that, at CGSD, you will not find two teachers taking care of more than 25 students in a class.

Along with the academics, CGS believes in developing all rounders for which we offer 14 clubs for Extra Curricular activities, participation in the Duke of Edinburgh program, Round Square Conference and Model United Nation.

This year students of secondary school CGS Dhaka attended programs at MUN Harvard, in Boston. U.S.A, Yale MUN in Singapore and Round Square in Vancouver, Canada.

All school activities are conceived and intended to help the students develop leadership qualities and to become equally good in academics as well as in extra Curricular activities.

CGS-Dhaka: 

CGSD Primary Located at House-6 & 8, Road-24, Gulshan-1, Dhaka, Bangladesh & CGSD Secondary Located at House No-8, Road No-83, Gulshan-2, Dhaka-1212, Bangladesh. CGSD currently  houses classes Playgroup to class 10,  with an aim to extending a class every year to ultimately reach the 'A’ level standard. A large play area provides an excellent ambience for young children and play equipments are provided to older students. The school has a well-equipped Library with multimedia provisions, computer lab for students, CDs, television and projector for interactive teaching, a lab for senior classes and musical equipments for singing lessons. For the convenience of the students, the school provides cafeteria, tailoring service and tuck shop for books and stationary within the campus.
