Welcome to Upper School

Head's Message:

At Chittagong Grammar School we continually face challenges - how we view them defines us! Do we choose to see the challenges as stepping-stones or as obstacles?

If we choose to see them as obstacles, then the challenges we face will be viewed as problems - problems that need to be overcome along with all the negative connotations associated with problems.  A great deal of wasted energy can be spent focusing on a negative mindset - like "I can't", "I don't want to" and "I shouldn't have to".

We at CGS however, choose to see challenges as stepping-stones - opportunities that we have encountered along the way for us to use, to "step on" so that we can develop further and ultimately achieve more of our goals!

We try to create a vision whereby our name is synonymous with excellence, innovation, honor, integrity and outstanding quality and service. That is it - we promise less and deliver more...every time. If we keep our vision simple yet goal oriented - then we will have turned our vision into a stepping-stone, one which we will use to reach even greater heights.

For greater heights do await us, as preparations for examinations are underway and results soon to follow. Our goals will be achieved if we remain focused.

The Upper School: 

Located at 321/11 Sarson Road, Chittagong, Bangladesh. The Upper School houses classes 8 to 12. There is a well-equipped library with audio-visual aids, two laboratories, three playing fields, two badminton courts, table-tennis facilities, a full size basketball court, a large multi-purpose hall, IT Lab with WLAN, a cafeteria and a Tuck Shop.
